| Retail Expansion Network operates PaidByCash, a patent pending e-commerce service with more than 60,000 affiliated retail stores nationwide that enables any online shopper to pay with cash using a Virtual MasterCard® Card. An estimated $40 billion in e-commerce sales are either settled with the 18th century financial instrument known as the money order or diverted to physical retail locations. Over a third of the country does not have easy access to credit cards, either because they are too young, have tenuous relationships with financial institutions (the 45 million Americans within 5% of their credit limit), or are reluctant to give their financial data over the web (many, many of us).
Our network includes Safeway, Rite Aid, Kmart, Pathmark, Circle K and others. E-commerce sites add PaidByCash as a way to cater to their cash customers, effectively giving the sites a cash register in 60,000 U.S. locations – on average less than half a mile from their typical American customer. Retail Expansion Network uses a Virtual MasterCard® product that requires little to no integration from internet retailers. Consumers have the option of spending their cash online anywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted.
